Golden Gun Mode. I don't know about you, but it was the cause of many an argument over a decade ago on my Nintendo 64. Activision brought back GoldenEye 007's perennial friendship-killer at Comic-Con, and Steve Johnson was there to jump in. Thankfully, he and Kevin Kelly are co-workers and not buddies, so they're still forced to hang out even after shooting one another in the face repeatedly. Steve's pretty positive that the nostalgia factor's working in favor of GoldenEye, per this snippet from his hands-on time:
"While online shooters can be seen to provide a 'better' gaming experience to players who are really into their kill/death ratios, if you're more concerned with games being fun than hardcore, split-screen multiplayer is the only way to go. GoldenEye will offer 'modern,' fully online multiplayer, but the split-screen is better--Until last night, I'd almost forgotten how much more awesome it is to trash-talk in person as opposed to over a headset. Suffice to say, there was a lot screaming, good natured cursing, laughing and 'did you see that?' coming from our section of Activision's press event."
Plus, Oddjob's been properly nerfed. Sound like a deal? Read Steve's anecdotes from his play time to learn more.

This has great graphics , my friends really get into it. We even have airsoft games based on the game.
We get all our supplies from http://www.airsplat.com/

I don't know why X-Play is even pretending to like this Goldenye. I am very sure it will be a great game, but X-Play will just build the hype on their website until the day the game comes out and give it a 2 or 3 out of 5 and talk about how they were disappointed with it not revolutionizing anything.
Mark my words.

Now with the inclusion of the Golden Guns i would definately say this game outsells the new Bond Blood Stone game.

This game was awesome in college, tourneys in my dorm room 3 days a week were great and my rd would come up and join in frequently. Sadly those days are gone but at least I can try and relive them with this. Can't wait, I haven't touched my Wii in a long time and now this and NBA Jam in the same year and even Kirby looks sweet. 24 hours in a day isn't enough.

I remember playing this as a kid. Some of the best times on my 360. Back when people actually met to play games, instead of having to pay a monthly fee -.-

Not that I am not excited and all but I just am having a hard time imagining them getting the magic that made the original so great I mean we have come a long way in shooters they are more rich in story and gameplay than when they first came out but I will wait and try the game before I make a judgement on a product I haven't tried.

Super stoked. True, won't be like the original, but what is? I think taking it as a separate game and just appreciating it'll be what's what.

What about the snow trooper? They were just as short as oodjob.

It will never be the true "Goldeneye" game and it will never hold what the original did because at that point in time the internet was non existent. But none the less it should prove to be a fun thrill ride!
BONERJAM
It doesn't seem like GoldenEye but it still looks fun.
As for split screen, that is the only way I can play MW2 now, its a lot more fun when you can set ground rules, you dont have to listen to the XBL community and you're in the same room with friends.
