On the heels of Comic-Con, Paramount released some stunning promotional concept art for the upcoming Avengers tie-in epics Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. And by "concept art," we're not talking about some scribbles in No. 2 pencil on an art pad of Darth Vader with a wide mask, holding a goofy lightsaber and a blaster. We're talking about unbelievably cool wide-angled images of Captain America storming the battlefield amid a hail of Nazi gunfire, and an epic battle between Thor and his evil half-brother Loki that seems to be sending the entire kingdom of Asgard into fire-blazing chaos. Cliff Notes: The pics are amazing! (See full versions below.)

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the evil Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in a duel so epic, the world is breaking apart.

Captain America (Chris Evans) ready to decorate the battlefield with bloody swastikas.
Granted, this is just art, but it's a series of visions that we're likely to see in the films, which definitely makes me more excited. These two films will definitely be a real test for the non-Spider/Iron/X division of the Marvel Universe.
Have any feedback about the artwork or the films?
