Xbox Live Game Room Won't Feature Teen, Mature-Rated Games

The sometimes erratic updating schedule of Microsoft’s classics-oriented Game Room service have made it difficult to keep up with, but the next wave of games, arriving today, have been announced:

Here are your latest releases, broken down by platform, courtesy of Game Room’s Facebook page:

  • Atari 2600 -- Fishing Derby, Barnstorming, Quadrun
  • Arcade -- Gyruss
  • Intellivision -- Hoverforce

I’d like a virtual Game Room filled with only Mega Man games, please.

This sucks I was excited cause I already have Pac-man and Mrs Pac man as well as frogger and thought they would be able to transfer and yet they still have not as well I hoped to see Donkey Kong and Q-bert and Zaxxon and its mainly atari games and games I dont like. Then they canceled 1 vs 100
and that was a great game

WHAT THE HELL!!! Microsoft is beginning to think like Sony now, why would you think that gamers want this crap, and furthermore why replace it with something amazing like 1 vs 100. It doesnt make any sense!

Quadrun is a good addition to the Game Room. It's one of the rarest Atari 2600 games and it's hard to come by if you don't already have one of the Atari Flashback consoles with the game included on it.

Microsoft forgot something important when making Game Room, without Nintendo games you can't truly call it a retro arcade.
