Kids today are all about special edition this and collector’s edition that, so it’s not surprise that Electronic Arts has gone ahead and revealed that their upcoming shooter reboot Medal of Honor will receive the limited edition treatment later this year.
For just $0.00 more than the standard retail price, players will gain exclusive access to the MP7, as well as two new multiplayer weapons, and day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns (which can be accessed in game by all players by ranking up).
If you pre-order the limited edition, you’ll also gain access to the game’s multiplayer beta, which is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 3 but should be hitting the Xbox 360 sometime soon.
The Medal of Honor limited edition will be available on October 12 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

DICE are the biggest bufoons in the industry. They did the same thing with BFBC2. They claimed it was a "limited edition"....well it wasnt. they just tried to make the game look cooler than it was. Its hilarious the crap they come up with...like claiming they had "free day 1 DLC" when all you did was enter the VIP code and it unlocked 2 game modes for multiplayer maps that were already on the disc. It's not DOWNLOADABLE content if you don't download it.

Isn't the PS3 version going to have Medal of Honor Frontline in it too?

Nope. Not interested in this game anymore after the stunt they pulled with the 360 beta. I will stick with BC2 and check out the Vietnam expansion later in the year. I am little upset about how the BC2 VIP map packs are just re-sized and slightly retooled versions of the maps that have been around since release. Vietnam era maps are better than nothing though. I wonder who is working on them since DICE seems to be so busy with MoH multiplayer.

They seem to really be pushing the PS3 version. During the demo at E3, they were all playing on the PS3. Any i read somewhere that they are developing it on the PS3 and porting it to the 360... i might be gettin this one on PS.

EA has GOT to be kidding with this. No chance this is gonna fly with the 360 community.
