Kids today are all about special edition this and collector’s edition that, so it’s not surprise that Electronic Arts has gone ahead and revealed that their upcoming shooter reboot Medal of Honor will receive the limited edition treatment later this year.
For just $0.00 more than the standard retail price, players will gain exclusive access to the MP7, as well as two new multiplayer weapons, and day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns (which can be accessed in game by all players by ranking up).
If you pre-order the limited edition, you’ll also gain access to the game’s multiplayer beta, which is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 3 but should be hitting the Xbox 360 sometime soon.
The Medal of Honor limited edition will be available on October 12 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

I have the closed beta. It is DEFINITELY like MW2 and BC2. The small details, and graphical style (so far) of BC2, but the speed of MW2. Lots of fun so far, still a few bugs, but thats to be expected from a beta. A must buy, for me anyway. One thing I can say is that you die rather quickly (kind of like in MW2, it only takes a couple of hits), which I particularly don't like...

You know what, This is G4, GameStop, GameInformer (which sucks anyway and is owned by GameStop), and all the Gaming Media's fault.
They ALLOW publishers like EA, R*, Activision and other Publishers to have these 'limited' editions which aren't at ALL limited nor special.
G4 in many ways, fails it's viewers/readers.

@unfungames- Are you stupid? EA has been giving PS3 exclusive contents for years since thier partnership on PS1. BTW, PS3 sells are just 2 million below 360 and last I recall, PS3 has a greater amount of 5 star hit games on it's console then yours. Enjoy Halo Gear and Mass cause thats all you have. LOL

I am getting so ridiculously tired of "pre-order" and "limited edition" exclusive IN-GAME content. No problem with the limited edition figures or Art books, but exclusive in-game stuff is just getting annoying! I really hate capitalism somtimes :(

Sorry but this game wont even put the slightest dent in COD and Halo sales or their communities, just like BC2 didn't. IMO it looks generic, boring and the character models look odd(to me). Get back to me when someone makes a great FPS because the whole genre is getting very stale.

The graphics look SOOO much better than than the beta! I have to admit, the beta was sorta a let down. I was so excited for it when I pre-ordered Medal of Honor... but now... ugh. Oh! The MP7 is in the beta!! But for some reason, it can only be used in mission multiplayer mode. No Team Assualt... :( I hope DICE doesn't screw this game up!!

What if you already pre-ordered it? I pre-ordered it to get access to the PS3 beta which sucked at first but now is a lot better. They didn't ask me at GameStop which version so I guess it will be like the same thing that happened with BFBC2 where you just automatically get it.

Jeez, leave 360 trolls! Sony and EA have had a partnership since PS1. Why you guys crying anyways? You get early DLCs and other exclusive content from other developers.

said from day 1 it was just battlefield multiplayer done slightly different. nothing spectacular. i happened to hate the multipler for battlefield so i wont be buying this. did people really think it was going to be something epic?? all game are is rehashes of some1 elses idea/design into your own. i love CoD and i prob wont get black ops b.c treyarch sucks. theres one type of modern gunfighting i enjoy and thats mw2, despite all the modding, cheating, and crap LAN system.

Honestly, I'm kind of getting tired of these same-y military shooters. The beta for MoH was really disappointing and felt like a Bad Company 2 re-skin but then there's Homefront, Bodycount and of course Black Ops coming and I'm just not interested anymore so unless Black Ops really turns out to be stellar, I won't bother with these
