Clearly, there are more than a few gamers out there really pulling for the “NBA Jam coming to PS3/Xbox 360” rumors to be true. While I can’t speak for all of them, I’m guessing that most of these folks don’t own a Wii, but love the classic franchise, and simply want to play it. I totally get that. But I also have to agree with reader MrNelson92 who defended the idea of NBA Jam being a Wii exclusive.
"If the people want to see the Wii become a "viable console", then quit whining every time a good game doesn't come out for 360/PS3, and be glad the Wii actually gets something cool from someone that isn't Nintendo."
Amen, brother. And even though EA stands to make much more money by releasing the game on other platforms, I'm pulling for them not to. But that's just me. What do you think?

I concur with MrNelson92 as well..that's a solid statement.
And I own all 3 systems as well. My one gripe would be if its not online....I mean that game was MEANT to be a 2 player VS.human experience....they need to make it happen because they will not get my cash if not! CIAO
BONERJAM
I own all three consoles so honestly I could careless.

It's fine if others like the Wii, i'm not a hater, but for a host of reasons i can tell you that it is very, very, unlikely that i will ever buy one, and i would download NBA jam if it was on PSN. for what its worth.

Games should not stay exclusive unless the game is built around the specific hardware and being multi-play would hurt the quality of the game. Otherwise you are only hurting the gamers, why would you want that?

I didn't have any real issue with the game being a wii exclusive. But to argue for it to remain so just seems thick to me. When a game goes multiplatform everyone wins. The only people who lose are either a) fanboys who legitimately care about exclusivity and b) the company that owns the platform that the game was originally exclusive to. (I'm sure there was a more efficient way to say that.)
You shouldn't care about either. Doing so is completely inane.

honestly it doesnt bother me. if you like video games and alllll video games you should sacrifice other things to have all consoles. im a full time drafter that goes to school and has tons of bills to pay off yet i still manage to have all three. well that and my g.f is nice enough to buy me stuff too haha so i believe in having exclusives for each console. if there werent exclusives then whats the use of having multiple systems to buy. i would like to see nba jam on just the wii. so ican finally use it regularly instead of watching my g.f do yoga or us play some bowling/mario.

No It should'nt stay as A wii exclusive. If it stayed A wii exclusive then it won't sell well.
