And the Bungie Day announcements just keep on coming, as GameStop has announced a new pre-order bonus for Halo: Reach, the UA Multi-Threat MJOLNIR Mark V(B) Armor (Catchy name, no?).
So what makes the armor so special? Here’s the official description:
“While Mark V MJOLNIR armor is designed to operate in a wide variety of combat situations, the UA/Multi-Threat configuration provides Spartans with the most impact across all combat scenarios. The chest piece's lightweight design allows for maximum freedom of movement while standard MJOLNIR defense systems provide the resilience that helped make Spartans the stuff of legend.”

GameStop is also offering an exclusive Spartan Recon helmet with Visor/Blast Shield and $20 off a future purchase as pre-order bonuses as well.

This isnt a preorder bonus guys, I bought this a month after it came out and got UA/Multi-Threat chestpiece,shoulderpiece,and the Recon UA/HUL-3, the supposed helmet preorder bonus. Sorry guys,IDK if its just me,but that was made public on release.

That's a pretty sorry excuse to pre-oder this game. The chest piece I mean. I understand you get a lot of stuff when you pre-order (I already have) but seriously? It doesn't even look cool and or stand out.

Halo Reach can only get better and better can't it? What started off as simply a Recon Helmet is now a new body piece. So glad I pre-ordered this game, can't wait!

I don't know, even though I haven't played the actual game, it doesn't look all that sweet-tastic compared to any of the other armor you get in the Beta.

I've already pre-ordered the Reach legendary edition from game stop so I guess I get another bonus, but the armor piece doesn't look that good.

I already pre-ordered the game from a different store. I don't mind pre-order bonuses when its given regardless of what store you pre-order from. When store A has this and then store B has something different and store C something different, it becomes lame. I am not going to return my current pre-order and pre-order it at "expensive" GameStop just for that. Now supposedly while I was playing the beta my friends were saying they saw a difference in the variants. better radar, movement etc... but I didn't see it.

they already made it more of a CoD. armor adding more of something or better of something for gameplay isnt what halo ever was. its bad enough they are doing the bloom and making the combat so slow and boring. and armor that causes insibility and sprinting... yeah pass on this joke

If i didnt work at gamestop i wouldnt get my games there, its just more convient and cheaper. Id definently go online or something
