Snipers. Everyone who doesn't play as one hates them. They hang out and steal all your hard-earned kills and they never contribute to all the grunt work that it takes to get a win outside of Team Deathmatch. In Team Fortress 2, they're arguably among the most useless of the classes (I eagerly await your flame mail). But there are certainly people who still love playing as them. And for them, there's Sniper: Ghost Warrior. At least, in theory. Paul Semel stormed through the anonymous jungles in search of dimwitted grunts to execute. The results, like a high-caliber headshot, aren't pretty. He elaborates:
"...Many of your enemies seem to be deaf and dumb. On several occasions I found myself being shot at by someone with a very loud machine gun, only to be ignored by his friends who were standing within earshot. I also saw an enemy gunned down by a coworker simply because he was standing between me and his colleague."

I log around 60 hours a week as sniper on Day of Defeat Source and after playing this NEW game, I can easily say the seriously dated Source Engine has this game beat hands down. Those HL guys really knew what they were doing.

I love stabbing a random sniper in battlefield bc2 and collecting he/she's dog tag, oh and Sniper: Ghost Warrior blows.

Snipers...very crucial in a game but only when you have balance in a TEAM! For an unknown reason, everyone thinks they are the baddest sniper in the world and they stay as one for the whole game screwing up the whole TEAM. Many times I've shot our own snipers just so they could get off their ass and move forward into battle. It just pisses me off that I find myself trying to secure an area and then you have some girls, and i mean those snipers that are not contributing, sitting behind just watching. The greatest insult to a sniper is a knife in the back because that's what they deserve for sitting on their ass. But I do tip my hat off to those snipers that can shoot but when you have the whole team as one is just lame as hell. Just remember that you can only HIDE like a girl for a short period of time.

snipers are the coolest in the shooter genre delivering death from afar is the closest mortals will ever be to gods of legend. ending the arrogance of all you rambo types that accumulate huge deathstreaks and hearing you scream and moan when a sniper ends your bravado with one bullet to the head one kill short of of your predator missile or pavelow classic.

@MrKrinklez Wow, we got ourselves a junior military strategist over here. just shut up. snipers are gay as hell and their kills are cheap. theyre in the same category as grenade launchers, rockets, and grenade spam.

ha did you call sterling a noob classic. ive had my eye on this game on steam for a while but still havent found a good review on it. ive been on youtube and all the videos are of the demo no one has posted footage outside of the demo. why didnt they give this game to abbie she seems to be a fan of the shooter genre i would of trusted her review way more than sterling. i'll wait a couple more days and see what i can find on youtube as far as a review goes.

Snipers are only a bad class in non-deathmatch modes. You can easily get many many kills in deathmatch and snipers are a vital role in many game modes. McGarvey is just a noob and always gets killed by snipers...

Snipers suck if you only know how to play a game like Rambo. I love playing a sniper, but any time I'm not, I rarely get killed by them. As a sniper, getting the right kills in the right order based on the location of enemies is very important to your overall strategy, as is monitoring your perimeter and moving after enough kills. As anyone else, snipers are easy to avoid or even hunt down if you don't suck at whatever game it is you're playing.
