Team Fortress 2 Engineer Update Details Rolling Out

The crazily anticipated Engineer Update for Valve’s beloved shooter Team Fortress 2 will finally arrive this Thursday, and to squeeze every last ounce of eagerness out of fans, Valve has started a program that will slowly reveal details about the big update until the update's official release later this week.

It works like this: Every time an item is crafted in the game, players have a chance to receive a highly coveted Golden Wrench. Valve is only handing out 100 of them, and with each batch of 25 wrenches, Valve will release a new piece of info about the update. Twenty-five wrenches have been awarded thus far, and with it, came details about the Engineer’s new “Frontier Justice” shotgun, which brings with it several perks including a critical hit  boost for sentry bot kills and assists.

The official wrench counter sits at 47, which means another info drop isn’t far off, so keep your eyes glued to the official Team Fortress 2 Engineer Update page for all the latest.

Anyone out there crafted their way to a Golden Wrench yet?
