Crackdown 2

The last few days were all about beers, brats and pools. Video games? Not so much, though I couldn't help but sneak in a few hours of orb collecting with Crackdown 2. What games were you playing during the holiday weekend?

Spent the weekend playing Brutal Legend. If there are any games that are better for celebrating the 4th of July than one with rock, gratuitous pyrotechnics, and freedom fighters I'd love to hear about it.

Transformers: War for Cybertron.

I've been fighting my way through the campaigns, forcing myself to stick with the offline experience.

Hard mode on the game is...well...surprisingly hard, especially if you're playing offline with the ATROCIOUS A.I., you're basically fighting alone through both halves of the story....but I started it and I'm determined to finish.

I downloaded The Dishwasher:Deadly Samurai on Xbox Live Arcade. Hands down one of the best side scrolling arcade games I played in a while!! Good story, brutal violence, and dark animation. Reminds me of Castle Crashers meets The Crow!! Great find, cuz I guess it came out in 08?? I can't believe I went this long never knowing about this awesome game!!

I played a lot of Call of Duty, which I haven't done in a while. I played MW2 and WaW online. I also played some ModNation Racers.

After beating Dead Space, I went a played a little World at War online. I needed a break from MW2 and Red Dead.
