PC gamers who have been waiting to check out THQ’s apocalyptic action title Darksiders will now have to wait even longer as THQ announced today that the game won’t be out for the keyboard and mouse crowd until September 21.
In an attempt to ease some of the pain caused by rabid thumb twiddling, THQ also revealed the game will be released as part of a new Hell Book edition that will include a comic book, a soundtrack CD, and art cards designed by famed comic book artist Joe Madueira.
Darksiders was relatively well received but didn’t perform that well commercially. Maybe it will find a second wind on PC.
What say you PC gamers?

A great game for sure. It showed how a Zelda game should be and could be done.

It's times like these I feel bad for PC gamers. Not only is this great game not out yet, but it'll probably end up being a crappy port.
In other Darksiders news, I just got its platinum trophy!

Another halfassed port (based off the systems reqs listed on steam) publishers are trying to make money off of, no thanks

"Darksiders was relatively well received but didn t perform that well commercially."
Darksiders sold more than Brutal Legend and that was preceived that it "had great success" according to this article: http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/p ost/705835/Double-Fine-Hiring- For-Work-On-Original-IP.html. Unless you're talking about having critical success. Though, I don't think there was much difference in their critically success between the two games if you follow their scores in Metacritic and GameRankings.

This game was awesome, I sooooo can't wait to see how the sequel plays out with 4 player co-op.

I played it on Xbox & I liked it. Zelda meets God of War, what's not to like? My friend's complaint, and many others', was that it was too derivative.
Huh?
Derivative as in, "Hey, here's a wild west game that's like GTA4. Here's a shooter that's like Fallout 3 & Modern Warfare with a little bit of Diablo thrown in. Here's a game like Doom 3 except it's a 3rd person shooter instead of a first person shooter. Here's a game like System Shock & we'll even keep the "Shock" as part of the title & the wrench weapon, too. Here's a game like Crysis, except it's not a sci-fi FPS & it takes place in Africa & it doesn't look as beautiful as Crysis. And this is without taking into account all the, "Hey here's the same game we made 3 years ago except we're calling it Blah-Blah 2.
Derivative is not necessarily a bad thing.
