iNASA Learning Technologies and Innovative Partnerships Programs are developing an MMORPG called Moonbase Alpha. In it, you and your team explore the moon, living out astronaut dreams.

Moonbase Alpha is scheduled for release today.

    yeah its really not an mmorpg more like a single player game with multiplayer capabilties.

    I'd rather have a NASA-sponsored game based on building spacecrafts using real-world physics and materials, successfully launching and landing them, and dealing with emergency situations. Something like a Space Race sim..

    these kinds of things can be exciting in real life and all, but i don't think that excitement can be carried over into a video game. i'll still give this a try though, if it really is free on steam.

    Basically you run/hop slowly around the moon fixing things via a connect the dots soldering minigame

    nothing really that interesting, but you're welcome to try it if you want (it's free to download on steam http://store.steampowered.com/ app/39000/ )
