Right then, sorry about the delay. This week's episode of Feedback is, unsurprisingly, all about E3. Most of us are well-rested enough to get our butts into Radio B and dive deeper into the games, announcements, and events of last week. 3DS was tops for everyone, but there was much more to discuss, including the actual potential for the Kinect and the Move, as well as how the rest of 2010 is going to play out now that we have a better idea of the release schedule. Let Adam, Patrick, Abbie, Sterling, and Matt guide you out of the post-event haze...

- What powers the top screen of the 3DS? According to Matt, it's "angels' souls trapped in the system." Scientific...I like it.
- How early is that Kinect Star Wars game we describe as a "fever dream," and wouldn't we rather have that for the Move?
- Patrick mentions something about Miyamoto and the Mario Galaxy team working on a 3D Mario platformer, and I get all excited in the background. This happens again when someone hypothesizes Kojima working on Zone of the Enders 3 for 3DS.
- How much heat are we going to get for calling Kinect an expensive TV remote for lazy people?

I think that both Sony and Microsoft know their tech is not for hardcore gamers but they are trying to expand their consoles to the younger kids that nintendo has. Then you only need one console to play your hardcore games and let your kids stand in front of the screen and wave their arms around.
And for Nintendo i am not getting another game that i have to use the motion controller i have given up after spending twenty minutes in front of my screen flicking my wrists trying to open my inventory in alone in the dark. And did anyone notice how inaccurate it was for the Zelda skyward sword demo?

I'm still confused about why feedback hasn't talked about dust 514 yet. Its going to be A. the first AAA FPS coming out of china. B The first real FPS where you are an actual mercenary. And C. The first ever MMO that lives together with another MMO in another genre.

Audio was good for me, it works fine... i dono maybe they fixed it
But i personally thought Rage was the stand out, it wasn't on my radar like black ops, or gears 3, but it stunned me with its graphics on the 360, i thought i was looking at a High end gaming PC when i saw the demo, i can't wait for that game.

I too definently wanna pick up the Nintendo 3DS.. and i've never been more wooed to pick up the Nintendo Wii then i have been since seeing the E3 2010 showing.

Also I still haven't seen anything to convince me that Black Ops will be any different from the sub par IW teet sucking games that treyarch has been spitting out every other year. Pretty much all that we saw was the helicopter sequence in which you are probably just on a rail.

Very ominous new intro and outro. Don't know how I feel about it but I guess there are much bigger fish to fry like this: Kinect should still be called Natal! During this episode they brought up how they didn't like the Kinect name and I was just waiting for someone to resuggest Natal. That words just rolls off the tongue and Kinect makes it sound like the name is trying to suggest what it does but it doesn't, so it does more harm than good because it distracts and confuses.

I really hope that people from Sony and Microsoft are watching this because if they just did like what Nintendo did and waited they could have something great. Like personally I think that Microsoft will do just like Sony and make some weird controller with a sensor on the end so the camera sees it. That is the only way I could imagine playing anything with I only see a few good possibilities with just your body and limited space.

I think that the next gen consoles will come out as soon as there is a huge amount of games that pushes the console to the limit. Because to my understanding, the consoles haven't had a game where its abilities were pushed. Meaning like for an example that every one would relate too is the Halo series on the 360. Meaning halo 3 was the peak of graphics then ODST came in where it was updated and could handle a few more enemies, and here comes Reach where it can handle a load of enemies and co-op ies on the same console and 100 times the polygons and Ect.
Now on the console side the Playstation and the Xbox and even the wii can do what the previous console could not, update capabilities, where the software can be updated to current technologies like HD TVs, sound systems, online support and Ect.

In reference to new IP's
Rage , Vanquish, Bulletstorm, Epic Mickey, Enslaved, Child of Eden, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Shank, Limbo, Lost in Shadow, Devil's Third, Rift: Planes of Telara, & Rapstar is all I can think of but there are new IP's.
Hope some of them turn out to be great games.
I have to admit I am now interested in the 3DS. I wasn't interested in it at all but so many people are impressed with it and talking about it. I will have to check this thing out.
Do you think Lost in Shadow should be turned into a 3DS game?
Motion control does nothing for me, I am not really that interested in any of it, including the Wii. But I could see using Kinect with some of those fitness games. Using it for exercise does make sense to me and I may, at some point, buy it for that. But not until it has a reasonable price.
The new voice of Cole from inFamous sounds awful Abbie. WTF You didn't mention the redesign.

Where was the love for GT5? I agree with most of them about Move and Kinect. Well I don't agree with Patrick, Kinect won't interest me even if it can do that. Specially for $150. Another thing, when did it become the party host's responsability to supply everyone with controllers? I know that when I have a party, specially one where I'm pretty sure we are going to end up playing games on the Wii, I ask my friends to bring Wii motes and nunchucks, because I don't have four. I have two sets of wii motes with their accompnying nunchucks. Same thing could be applied for Move. If get Move, which is a big IF, I'm going to get two sets, for me and my wife and then I will ask people to bring their own! Kinect on the other hand, I'm not just interested, the software line up looks extremely weak and the whole novelty of it, you know the menu syrfing, will loose its appeal very quickly, so no thank you.
And shame on you patrick for calling out PSN+, hey I'm no fanboy, I have all 3 consoles and love them all dearly, but Microsoft charges you to PLAY ONLINE, something gamers have enjoyed for free on the PC and even the PS2 if you could set it up, so if your going to call out Sony and PSN+, you have to call out Microsoft and XBL for charging you to do the most basic thing, and that is play online. Be fair, that is all I am saying.

Yeah I can agree with Abbie I was 100% sold on inFAMOUS 2 and I was sold on Dead Space 2 and I've yet to play the first one.

I really want to hear more about Hunted. I heard about it really early and i kinda loved so i wanna hear some about it and what everyone else think (like Adam, Patrick, and Abbie).
