Right then, sorry about the delay. This week's episode of Feedback is, unsurprisingly, all about E3. Most of us are well-rested enough to get our butts into Radio B and dive deeper into the games, announcements, and events of last week. 3DS was tops for everyone, but there was much more to discuss, including the actual potential for the Kinect and the Move, as well as how the rest of 2010 is going to play out now that we have a better idea of the release schedule. Let Adam, Patrick, Abbie, Sterling, and Matt guide you out of the post-event haze...
Other dark secrets contained within:
- What powers the top screen of the 3DS? According to Matt, it's "angels' souls trapped in the system." Scientific...I like it.
- How early is that Kinect Star Wars game we describe as a "fever dream," and wouldn't we rather have that for the Move?
- Patrick mentions something about Miyamoto and the Mario Galaxy team working on a 3D Mario platformer, and I get all excited in the background. This happens again when someone hypothesizes Kojima working on Zone of the Enders 3 for 3DS.
- How much heat are we going to get for calling Kinect an expensive TV remote for lazy people?
- For all the love we give 3DS, two of our show disappointments might not sit well with Nintendo fans...
- Games we also discuss: Halo: Reach, Killzone 3, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Comic Jumper, Dance Central, and much more.
- Just to clear up any confusion: Adam Sessler is not an archer.

What I would like to know is how the XBox 360 'Slim' is doing in terms of susceptibility of overheating/dying. I don't want to waste $300 to buy the new XBox if it still has as high a rate as the last one. I could spend 300 on something more useful than something that just fosters frustration.

There already is a lot of complaining about there not being 2 analog sticks. They really need to have a second one. They did say the design was not finished. I can hope.

There's "a feature" during the Sorcery B-roll.

Wow didn't know I started a time paradox with my name that would break the podcast. As for the william blake reference.... I wish I was that creative, actually its my real first name. Imagine that. Thanks to the G4 guys for mentioning my question though it didn't really get answered per se since they didn't realize the sub controller actually wasn't bundled with any package available right now.
Oh well.... BONERJAM TYGER UPPERCUT!!

Awesome show, but something that caught my attention is at one point in your discussion you were talking about what made Kinect (sorry if my spelling is incorrect) for you, and Patrick was stating how interacting with the UI via Kinect, made it worth it to him. My question is, is the voice recognition driven by the camera device or firmware in the 360 itself? In which case why couldn't the UI interaction where you tell the Xbox what you want, be handled with just a headset or something?

Kinect and Move better have some good games, or they will both suffer drastically. MS and Sony need to listen to the gamers.

Why is nobody mentioning Enslaved: Odyssey to West? It was by far one of the most interesting games I saw at E3 this year. It has quite a unique story, by comparison to most games, and an interesting art style. Most importantly, it's an original IP. Seeing as the entire table seemed pressed to think of one original game besides Epic Mickey, I find it very suprising Enslaved wasn't mentioned at all. You even had the game demonstrated on your stage. This reminds me of the moratorium of information and coverage of Red Dead Redemption until after its release, which was unprecedented and unusual.

I notice that on the Nintendo 3 DS that the bottom screen is smaler than the one on top do you guys at feedback think that this issue will be addereaed in the future? After all they just lunched the DS XL and this could persint a problem espacaly with fans that love those big screens and now there is this little screen I think that thease peolpe will complane?

Is it just me or did I hear some Jimi Hendrix in the intro?

OK patrick, so Sony gets an F.U. for making it OPTIONAL to pay for their service and to get background firmware updates, but Microsoft doesn't get one for FORCING you to pay just to simply play online?
Really man, get off Feedback, everyone is sick of your constant smug attitude and that smirk that's always on your face.

Couple of corrections.
Children of Eden is multiplatform, not 360 exclusive. Also Kinect is capped out at 2 people 'playing' games so you can't really compare the price of 4 person Move to Kinect. A two person kit price is more applicable.

Umm, Adam. Awesome Sports Spectacular. A.S.S. That's why :)
