Sega's Sonic turns 19 this week (what university do you think he attends?), and the company is readying four (and more) Sonic titles for later this year. How are you going to know which one to pick? It depends on your particular poison. Sonic Free Riders will hit the Xbox 360's Kinect, and it promises the most moving title. Get it? I checked the game out at E3 2010, and it was like watching a hamster in a cage:
"Players can choose to be Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Jet, Wave, Storm, Amy Rose, Dr. Eggman or even their own avatar as they race for golden rings and dodge attacks from their fellow racers. Gameplay consists of kicking your foot on the ground to accelrate, leaning to bank turns, reaching your arms out to collect rings, jumping up for maximum air, and spinning around like a top to entertain the people watching you. I mean, for bonus points in the game."

i like the idea of move, but when i see that chick in the background moving her hands like crazy, it makes me think twice

MIGHT darkailx? they put out that they are finaly going to release a good sonic game then make a explete 180 and go "durkurdurkadurderdar" and put out another crap game...why can they not just make another sonic adventure that isnt crap? 1 was good but 2 was...well it wasnt as good as 1 and i know alot of people didnt like 1 but they actually did SOMETHING right in that game, i cant put my finger on it but they did.

This actually worries me a bit. I own both "Sonic Riders" games and while the first one was alright, the second was terrible. Sonic has been going downhill for a long time now and though I am excited for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Sega has to kick it up another couple notches. Sonic 4 will revitalize the series only by a bit. To truly wrong their mistakes they have to stop putting out bad Sonic games. Coming out Sonic Free Riders might knock down what they are attempting to do.
