E3 2010 Preview: Bonk: Brink of Extinction

Here's what I want you to to do: First, remember Bonk. Get a picture of the caveman video game hero in your mind. Now, consider for a moment that a new Bonk game is coming, in downloadable form,  to PSN, 360 and Wii. It's called Bonk: Brink of Extinction. Then, read this taste of Alexandra Hall's E3 2010 preview of the game:

"Bonk works it much like he always has, with his signature headbutt, mid-air spin and head-first landing carrying him through worlds of simple platforming. New to the series are a double-jump and six special powers, which include fire, ice, and (naturally) bubbles. The special abilities change Bonk’s appearance (for example, ice adds a frozen mohawk) and grant access to special areas. Ice can freeze enemies, bubbles can be ridden upwards, that sort of thing."
