At its E3 2010 press conference today, Nintendo detailed their upcoming Nintendo 3DS system. The handheld Nintendo will show off 3D graphics without the use of glasses.
Satoru Iwata showed up to show off the device. Here are the bullet-points:
- It has a wider top screen: a 3.5 inch wide display,
- includes a slider control to choose the degree of 3D, from "none" to "all."
- Improved graphics capability from the current generation of DS.
- Will feature a "slide pad" controller.
- Contains motion and gyro sensors.
- Compatible with Nintendo DSi.
- Two camera lenses on the outside allows you to take photos and view in 3D!
- Capable of displaying 3D Hollywood movies. No titles yet, but Disney, WB and Dreamworks will have trailers on the thing.
- WI-fi compatible. No monthly fee for online.

I wonder what the back of it will look like since the 3DS and DS cartridges are seperate and plus the SD slot needs to go somewhere.

i would love to see this out soon(i think someone said on e3 that it would come out "before the end of march"maybe i misheard it but i certainly hope thats not the case because it would be next year!!!!)i want a ull realease date and a price(question:does it still work for people with medical glasses?) Nintendo definitly won over E3 and i hope they come out with alot more within the next few months.

at first when i got my ds i liked it but the only games that i could find were all made for 5 year old girls
if they make some good games for it ill buy it, but not rigth away becuase of course they WILL make fifty diffrent verson of it
but still i dont think some theis littel kids can handel something so amzeing like a portibal 3D gameing thingy and their parrents wont ethier becuase it wont be cheap
i would love to see something like this but i would really like to know the price

I think it'll come out next year, not this year. The DSi and DSi XL's releases were so recent. As for the price point, it'll probably be more than the original DS and DS Lite; I'd say maybe $200-$250.
