Miyamoto Asks Fans To 'Wait' For Kid Icarus News

The wait is finally over. Kid Icarus: Uprising is the first major game title announced for the new Nintendo 3DS. There's no release date, but they've promised it's "coming soon." Check back for the new trailer Nintendo revealed on the E3 show floor.

I watched one of those Iwata Asks videos and the developer said that the slidepad moves pit, the L button shoots, and the stylus aims. Plus the trailer was actual gameplay footage so why would they show such a big title that could only be played on the 2D bottom screen? So you probably aim on the bottom screen and then it moves around on the 3D top screen.

when you watch the trailer theses a cursor, so it looks more like it is on the wii and it also sounded like they said it was on the wii

Kid Icarus finally gets his spot light again! I still play the original and get whooped hardcore. I can't wait to see how it translates to the 3DS. Pits the $__t!

holy... I was enthralled by this announcement, it almost beat Golden sun DS, not quite though. but damn that game looked awesome, I have to get a 3DS even though I just bought a DSi
