Ubisoft dropped some precious, precious details on Driver: San Francisco at E3 this year, revealing that the game will offer two different kinds of retro action. The first kind of retro: Nostalgia for the original Driver games. John Tanner, the protaonist from Driver is back, and the enemy from Driver 2, Charles Jericho is back too.
The second kind of retro: The throwback feel of the game. It's definitely influenced by the great car movies of the 1970s like Vanishing Point and Grand Theft Auto. Tanner drives a 1970 Dodge Challenger, one of over 100 licensed cars. (licensed cars that do show damage,by the way.)
We don't have a release date for this PS3 and 360 title, but when we hear, we'll let you know.
