Remember that Alan Wake live-action teaser video that came out last week? Turns out that it didn’t have anything to do with the game itself, but was rather a teaser for a music video for a song off the game’s soundtrack called “War” by the band Poets of the Fall.
The video is rather fantastic, and it actually features Ilkka Villi, the actor who lent his likeness to Wake in the game, and appeared in live-action form in the game as well. The video definitely has shades of the wonderful prequel mini-series Bright Falls, which I love, and the song, while cheesy in parts, is quite haunting. But don’t take my word for it. Watch for yourself:

Something was missing but then I realized. I didn't see a single coffee thermos. Oh well. Excellent song and video.

Not a fan of the track but the video was badass. Seems like I cant get enough extra Alan Wake content...

The video seemed cool, I could'nt eatch all of it because of that crap music.

The video is cool and probably only because I really liked the game. On the other hand, that song is god awful no offence to people that like god awful music.
