Interview: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Creator Tameem Antoniades

Keep an eye on Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. This action game from Ninja Theory features a compelling, innovative storyline and an interesting look. In the video below, we chat with Chief Creative Ninja, Tameem Antoniades, about the game's unique setting and plot.

"Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is based on book called Journey to the West, which is a 400 year old Chinese novel featuring two character, Monkey and Trip," Antoniades says. "We've adapted to place it 150 years in the future, in a post apocalyptic America. There's been all kinds of wars -- chemical, biolocial and chemical warfare, nuclear -- and there are only a handful of people left in the world."

Among that handful, the player (Monkey) and Trip, the (AI-controlled) woman who enslaves him. It's an impressive setup, and if the game lives up to its possibilities, it'll be a must-play. Check out the video for more info and a look at the game itself:
