Do you like Green Day? That seems to be the biggest question surrounding Green Day: Rock Band. The pop-punk band's career trajectory, from "Dookie" to "American Idiot" to "21st Century Breakdown" are all chronicled in Harmonix's latest title. Patrick Klepek strummed the night away to the game. Here's a choice quote:
"I like Green Day. In middle school, they were what you might call my "jam." We've parted ways since, but playing the undeniably iconic 'Brain Stew' in Green Day: Rock Band brought upon a nostalgic moment where I wanted to send a video of myself playing a virtual version of Green Day back to my younger self. More than anything else, Green Day: Rock Band allows someone to actively participate in a Green Day history lesson on the band."

The entire dookie album is in the game. It might be missing one song from the album, from what i read. Rockband.com has the song list I counted 13 songs from the dookie album.

If the whole album that was in the game was Dookie, I think more people would be down...Not that their new stuff is terrible or anything, but we love you for Dookie, Greenday. It's an album that's as fun to say as to listen to...! :P

I'm holding out for RB3 but I'm not a Green Day fan so this was never really an option.

Love Green Day, not enough to buy this title though. I'll wait for Rock Band 3.
