It's no longer a rumor, but the iPhone 4 won't be in your hands today, tomorrow or next week. Take a deep breath. iPhone 4 isn't far off, though. Apple announced the release date this morning: June 24.
iPhone 4 arrives on June 24, with pre-orders beginning a bit earlier on June 15.
The pricing lineup, as of later this month:
- iPhone 3GS (8GB) -- $99
- iPhone 4 (16GB) -- $199
- iPhone 4 (32GB) -- $299
Of course, all require a two-year contract with AT&T. No word on iPhone on other carriers.

@bugmenot150-It's not about the iphone being a great phone. Anyone with two eyes can see that. It how they gush over the phone, as if it was created by God or something. We get it the iphone is great!! You will never see them review a product with so much personla emotion as they do Apple products. To the point where Hardwick actually took time out to address the people he argued with on the internet over the ipad!! One, why are you even defending a product you're supposed to review, I though reviews come from a subjective stand point??!! Two, how serious is an argument you have on the internet with someone you will never meet in real life, that will motivate you to even make mention of it during a review?? They can give the iphone 5 out of 5 and it will be a fair and just score. But let's be honest since we all know that, any review of the iphone will just be a 3-5 minute love fest.

I believe that the Eris was overshadowed by the Droid, when they launched on the same day. the Eris gave people an option in terms of style with a slight drop in features. then The Incredible was announced a Eris 2.0 if you will (beefed up) now Droid Xtreme (2) I believe it will be a HUGE competitor for the iPhone Market especially since it seems like 4 dropped the ball on some key features. and Droid Xtreme will most likely run on Verizon.

I've got a red Samsung run-of-the-mill phone. It takes pictures and allows me to use speaker phone. Why do phones have to do everything a computer can do and more? I've got a Macbook and I'm perfectly content with that lol.

Ok well I'm not an iphone basher cause I have the 3GS and have had it for a while now and I knew that Apple was coming out with another phone that doesn't have the features that other phones consider standard. They do it every year and it seems the masses including myself have always fallen for it. I read the specs on Engadget and honestly it's a great phone but now they have way more competition and if they don't come out with a phone that competes or is even better than the current phones on the market they are gonna lose in the end. I predict that the new king will be HTC and Apple will be a close second due the EVO (which is the reason I ditched the iphone and I wanted a cheaper monthly bill). Oh and by the way, the EVO is an awesome phone I've enjoyed it from the moment I got it. Compared to my 3GS, the EVO is far superior. Compared to the Iphone 4 it's better by just a small margin.

I only just got the 3GS 2 months ago and it's getting released this soon. Man thats both cool and sucks. Oh well I hardly use my iPhone for anything other then Twitter and Facebook. I wonder how long until it comes out in Australia? I only got my iPhone because the Palm Pre never came out down under and I was surprised on how good the iPhone turned out to be. Now we have a date in the USA for the iPhone 4, now how about the new OS4?

I haven't seen anybody really talk about how AT&T changed the rates of their data plans. With the new iPhones you are going to through a lot more data a lot quicker (with netflix and other apps). AT&T changed the plans to make more money, not to help save customers like they said.

@impurestcrowd-IT really all depends on your location. As it turns out there are more people who are in areas with bad AT&T reception as there are with Verizon. I had AT&T even back when they were cingular. I was always dropping calls. Now with Verizon, I can get good reception practically anywhere. Everyone wants to talk about which carrier is better than the other, based solely on brand loyalty. But at the end of the day they're all pretty decent for the most part, it really just depends on your location though.

The upgrades seem cool, nothing that blew me out the water. I'm pretty sure that they'll review it the day it comes out on Gadget Pron. I just hope they don't use Kevin or Chris to do the review. We already know how big of fanboys they are with Apple products, so I can bet they'll probably be too busy hiding their "happy" stains to give a honest review of the new iphone.

5 meg camera is weak. there are phone's out there with 12 meg cameras and the standard smart phone is up to 8+ (htc incredible, evo and my fav the sony ericsson x10) for me this is a major selling point. many times apple has said that they use better components so their lower res is fine but there is no way they can tell me their camera is better then the zeiss's lens in the x10. did i also forget to mention that i go to school at KSU and not only does at&t not have 3g coverage but their edge is the worst serve in town.

well, im a little disappointed any version of the iPhone not coming to verizon or sprint. i would easily switch to verizon from sprint if the iPhone went there as well, but with the HTC EVO coming out and sprint rolling out 4g it seems illogical to switch carriers and commit to a 2 year contract with a phone that will be obsolete in a year or so when At&T gets their 4g network out.

Personally I will be picking one of these phones up when they come out. I was never a fan of Apple and still don't care for their products but after owning an iPhone for over a year now I have to say that they make the best smartphone on the market. I have worked for multiple wireless retailers and have owned every type of smartphone that there is and none of them live up to what the iPhone can do so far. I hope that the Droid picks up and does well because I would like to rid myself of the only Apple product that I own.
As far as AT&T sucking, I don't have any issues with them. I get great service everywhere I travel to. Of course all of this depends on your area and what the coverage is like.
Like other people my biggest complaint with the iPhone is the lack of any Adobe support. I know that they are trying to move the market to a less taxing resource but its still BS. I wish they would just suck it up and add Flash already so we can enjoy 80% of the stuff out there.
