Website Gizmodo has revealed the fake plastic guitars you'll be pretending to play if you buy Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock when it comes out on September 21.
The axes will feature all the relevant electronics in the neck/fretboard of the guitar, and thus allow you to customize your guitar with flashy wings and whatever you'd like. Check them out in the picture above. That's the standard guitar that will come with the game, where people who pre-order from GameStop will receive a special guitar. You'll be able to create and customize your perfect guitar, so if you want to rock a fake Silvertone from the 1950s or a sensitive acoustic fake guitar, you should be able to... especially when third parties start putting out their own interpretations.
Also changed: That weird upper-fretboard thing that the last game featured that allowed hammer-ons and slides. Good riddance to that thing: I don't know anyone who ever used it.
Personally, I don't care too much about these guitar covers. I'll stick with my old guitar and just play the game, but maybe aesthetics are more important to you.... what do you think?
