Apple fans at G4tv.com have been waiting for this one for a while: FarmVille for the iPhone. Yes, Zynga is finally answering our prayers to access FarmVille on-the-go, synched with our Facebook farms. Oh, Netflix announced it's bringing streaming to iPhone, too. And a new Guitar Hero game.
The announcements came during Apple's keynote for Worldwide Developers Conference 2010.
FarmVille will be available at the end of the month through the App Store.
But, back to Netflix, right?
If you've used Netflix streaming through iPad, you have a good sense of what to expect from the iPhone version. Netfilx has taken the fact that people will use multiple sources to stream into account, too. Users who start a movie on iPhone can pick up where they left off on the iPad or Xbox 360 or PC -- wherever else Netflix streaming has been integrated, really. It's a nice touch.
You'll have to wait until this summer for Netflix on iPhone. It's available now for iPad.
Guitar Hero is also finally arriving on the iPhone. Rock Band beat Activision to the punch, but Activision's version comes with a new "strumming" feature, apparently, and includes music from Queen and the Rolling Stones. You don't have to wait for this one, either. It's available right now.
