Ok, enough is enough! These map packs are WAY TOO overpriced. I play MW2 every day and I am getting close to calling it quits. I just don't know what other games will give me the same level of noob pwning enjoyment...

My problem isn't the fact that they put two remake maps in there. My problem is that it's 15 Dollars. (And XBL is ALWAYS trying to 'hide' the price by using those stupid M$ points.)
Seriously? 15 Dollars? I've already spend 60 for the game plus 15 for the last map pack. That's 75 Dollars for the game and now you want it to be 90 Dollars?
I'm sorry I just... I don't have that kind of Cash Laying around when I already wasted money on a lack luster, completely F*d up Mass Effect 2 and a moderately good Splinter Cell and a Great at times RDR (although sometimes it sucks, especially public free roam)
Plus I want to make sure I buy Fable 3 (thank GOD Alpha Protocol got delayed and I lost interest in it since I heard it was a bad bad game) and I'm sure there will be a few more games that will 'sneak up' on me. Plus Project Natal (if they keep it named as Project Natal and don't rename it to a homosexual name like Move or whatever the hell the rumours are now).
I mean in all honesty 90 Bucks within 7 months is just too much money for me to spend on a game which is a multiplayer game (SP had some parts but c'mon we all knew it was going to be heavy on the multiplayer) that seems to be 'hacked' every 3 days by new cheaters (which it confuses me that people can hack it)
Plus I'm still sore at Bobby Kotick for losing Infinity Ward. (Whoever Respawn Entertainment kinda kicks the Infinity Ward's name since it is awesome AND has a meaning now!)

Well this map pack came out of nowhere! I didn't know it was even being done, well I didn't get the Stimulus package, probably won't get this one either. I'll stick to CoD4 instead.....until Halo Reach comes out....

Xplay does great comparison videos, way better than any other websites. Especially 1up, whose video quality is so laughably bad that any attempt at a comparison video turns into a "Which one is more blurry" video.
The only site that does it better is Gamespot. They don't do videos, but they have super high res pictures comparing multi platform games and they do a very good job with it.

I don't really play online games other than Guild Wars, and I use my 360 about as much as my PS3, so pls. don't write me off as a fanboy, but when Socom Confrontation came out they actually updated the maps that were include that existed already to be larger in some cases and for the balance issues that were ppart of the new game. I took part in the beta and I still didn't like Socom any better than I did before (zilch), maybe because as I said, I tend to avoid MP games. Although I do like that these rehashes came with the game- at no additional charge.

*YAWN*.......Gonna go buy 3 uncharted dlc for $15(in total for the three dlc's) With over ten new characters, 6 new maps and 5 new trophies. Now that's what I call money well spent

My personal fav for the new maps is carnival but that besides the point... I really hate vacant now, since IW added all the new launchers and explosions and crap its just camp the hall with a grenade launcher or shoot someone with an rpg, might as well just sit outside until they can't find you. Though i do like how it looks :D

It's seems all they did with these re-hashes is that they just changed the color palette and added in small details that you won't notice during gameplay. I can wait till these go on sale, or are bundled with the stimulus package for about the same price.

eh i can see where u guys are coming from with liking the originals better, but i personally prefer to play in a well lit environment like strike was in cod4, or how vacant is in MW2 now, its more enjoyable and im tired of just bleak maps in games all the time.. like Gears, god of war, fallout, many maps on COD, and more. its overused and it sometimes ruins the integrity (looks-wise) of a game/map
