Nearly a year after its official unveiling at E3 2009, Xbox 360 action game Crackdown 2 is finished. The news was tweeted out this morning from Ruffian Games' official twitter feed, which reads:
"#Crackdown2 has passed cert, thanks for the fantastic work by all. Load up those trucks, Agents. We're heading out."
It ships in North America on July 6 and in other territories on July 8 and 9, so get ready to collect those orbs, gamers.

Hopefully it's not Crackdown 1.2 Needs more land mass it's 2010. It does nave a nice chopper and it's like GTA. Like collecting stuff and wild gameplay. I like huge areas probably will buy it though anyway

I was going to preorder this, and i still want to, but my current funds... i have enough, but only just. I can pay off Reach and Crackdown 2 with the money i've got, but only just... really depends on my cash at the end of this month.

I'm a little bumed out that I bought a preowned copy of the first Crackdown to brush up on my skills, only to find out it was a scratched copy. I took it back for a replacement and got the same results!! Oh well, I'll take it back for a third time, only this time I'll just use the 12.99 I paid for the game, to put towards a reserved copy of Cracdown 2. Between now and July 6, I'm sure we'll be seeing a commercial from Gamestop about how all pre-order copies come with a new weapon or some sort of DLC they decided to hold hostage for the extra cash...Gotta love capitalism!!

I'll be annoyed if it turns out they have to release a game-fixing patch the day after the game comes out.
But I doubt that would happen.
Time to pre-order.

release is a month away so it's not really "finishing early". Now they can work on getting the demo out.

This should be good news that it is finished so early. They must feel pretty confident about the final product if they aren't working on it up to release.
