We'll get a much closer look at the multiplayer-enhanced Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood at E3, but gamers were sent reeling this morning when artwork appeared to surface from a secret Ubisoft project that suggested something else Assassin's Creed was in the works. While we still don't know exactly what's up with the Egyptian-themed art, we can say it's not related to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
The art suddenly showed up at www.ubiworkshop.com.
What do we know so far? Ubisoft is collaborating with comic artists Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl. Stewart recently collaborated with Grant Morrison on Batman and Robin: Blackest Night, while Kerschl has contributed to Teen Titans: Year One, Adventures of Superman and others.
"Before you ask, this has nothing to do with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," said Ubisoft.
That doesn't rule out a game...until a Ubisoft statement clarified it was "non-game" related.
What are Kerschl and Stewart working on? Start the guessing. Follow the project at @UbiWorkshop.
