If you're itching for new things to do in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Activision and Infinity Ward have a solution -- if you're willing to part with a few dollars, of course. The second Modern Warfare 2 map pack, entitled the "Resurgence Pack," is now available early for Xbox 360 owners.
The "Resurgence Pack" includes three all-new multiplayer maps -- Carnival, Trailer Park, Fuel -- and two others brought over from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Strike and Vacant.
Though the add-on is currently exclusive to Xbox 360 right now, it will come to both PlayStation 3 and PC later. Activision and Infinity Ward have not set a date for its release outside Xbox 360.
The map pack is available right now on Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).

my friend bought the resurgence map pack for MW2 and he let me recover his account and re-download them to my HDD and recovered his account back
{i have to go into privite match in MW2 login as him even if i get the message stating its recovered on another console etc i then re-sign in as my gtag and go to the main multiplayer pregame lobby} then presto i have them maps!!!
i do have to do whats in brackets everytime i use mw2 after shutting off my console
it works and i think its not violating the TOS or CoC cause its a glitch lolz a good one in fact

Just do what i do, find a friend that dled em, get his pass and user, give him mine, he downloads my downloads and i do his and bam free map packs dur deh dur

@boohoodman we say there are only 3 maps because theres only 3 new maps and 2 old maps so basically you are really only playing 3 new maps for $15 because you have already played the the other 2 on COD4

I think Activisions being a little biased towards the 360. It seems like they don't care as much about PS3 owners because why should it take a month longer to get it on PS3 while 360 owners are already having a good ole time with the map packs. This new map pack excites me more than the "decent but i expected more" Stimulus map pack. Carnival looks fun but i am quickly losing my confidence in Activions staff now that they have lost many of their "better" and higher ranking members to Respawn or whatever its called. I would be playing my 360 right now had both of them not shown the "red ring of death." I am PROUD to say that i have had ONE PS3 for atleast THREE years.

I'm a little confused as to why DL'ing the new map pack is forcing me to not play the game from HDD - but only from disc. It's been a long time since I last heard my 360 spin a disc and it's mighty loud. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it's still not playing from HDD <.<</safety_wrapper&g t;

Why would I want to pay money for new maps when this game is so borken and hacked its not funny. I got rid of that flaming pile of animal waste a long time ago. Who can have fun when the experiance is like running on broken glass. Yea Mclane did it in Die Hard but come on.. Cheating in a video game.. What losers

Im sorry, but i would love a company much more and further support them if they took the valve road and rewarded their fans with free content for a game they already paid for. i stopped playing mw2 a while ago and having to pay 15 bucks for somthing new isnt going to make me spring up and play it again

I've decided to download them but it has a lot to do with a couple of my buddies throwing down some cash. We play split screen a fair amount so we wanted more maps and at $3.75 a person I'm not going to complain.

when they released the 5 maps for $15 (3 new, 2 old) we all freaked out over the price............now they release 3 for $15.

I think that it's worth it. I spend quite A bit of time playing this game and for the amount I play it, the money is well spent. But, that's just for me. I can never get enough of MW2.
