I am a Mario super-fan, I'm not ashamed to admit it. That 's why I'm on this week's episode of Feedback, wherein we discuss Super Mario Galaxy 2, the plumber bros.' latest adventure in space/time. Adam, Abbie, Patrick, and special guest Morgan Webb are the other power stars on the panel, and they blow my mind when they tell me that the second player can also collect purple coins, making that whole endeavor significantly easier. Man, I wish I had friends.
Elsewhere in this video program for the Internet:
- Adam and I both saw Call of Duty: Black Ops in action, and Treyarch's first foot forward is an impressive one. You'll see what we saw at E3 -- until then, our verbalized impressions will have to suffice.
- Another thing you'll see at E3 that I've already seen: Killzone 3. The second one didn't exactly win me over, but I'm actually looking forward to part 3. The shooting feels better, and it's got snow!
- Everyone on the panel really, really, really wants Beyond Good & Evil 2 to come out, but are we setting ourselves up for disappointment? We address this week's cancellation rumors and keep hope alive.
- Patrick played the new Harry Potter game, Deathly Hallows, Part 1, and has some reservations about Stupify being a rocket launcher.
- Rockstar says they're not going to E3. We say, "Have you ever been at E3?"
- Looks like David Cage is already casting for his next game. It won't be Heavy Rain 2, which means it's time to speculate on what it actually is! Probably something French.
Feedback: Coming up with amazing ideas and forgetting to follow through on them since 2009.

(Red Dead Redemption -- the game with horses that you can't stab in eye while naked -- is next week, partners.)

There are three things in this world that i absolutely love: Video Games, Green Day, and the incredibly good looking Abbie Heppe. She is Yum Certified.

Feedback on tv is awesome but it would be even cooler if it was on tv once every week instead of for a special.

Some of these posts are just plain stupid. Honestly if I was G4 I would ban some of you from even participating on this website. It must be very hard for some of you to have friends, because your opinion is the only one that counts.
Looking forward to the E3 coverage.

Haters gonna hate.

What? Abbie has thumbs? I didn't even notice. I was to busy looking at her beautiful face. MMMMMMMM, Abbie!

Leave Abby's thumbs alone

Is it just me or does Webb complain about things being to childish all the time? I remember her complaining about 360 avatars also. We all get it, Webb. You're an adult. The majority of the mario audience would NOT want a adult take on mario or whatever you think it should be.

I have to say considering video game endings i absolutely hated Red Dead's ending! I felt like it didn't do justice to the whole of the game, and they set it up way to much with all the interaction with his son. I would have rather been slightly disappointed with them trying to have a good boss fight, then a predictable sad twist. Games like ninja gaiden two, or Batman Arkham Asylum who i thought fell short on their endings still did the game justice and did just as much as they could and i was perfectly content with the endings. I just don't get why you guys liked the ending so much, being okay with it is one thing, but loving it... maybe there is something wrong with me!

wouldn't the one code use totally kill Rental games? would they make an exception for rented games? if not why would you ever rent or try out mostly online games like all of the FPS games

The reason there's no horse stabbing Equus-style. is because there's no hoof picks.

WOW reading through these posts I can see that Morgan really upset some Mario fans. I guess Mario is for little kids after all. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion aren't they? I for one think the Wii was joke from the start. Bad graphics, no HD, and bad controls proves I was right for not taking that console seriously. The core reason people support Nintendo is for Mario and Zelda (which is fine) but I for one need more than a couple franchises to get me by. Nintendo is and always will be to childish for me.

Morgan was a great addition to the show. Getting to know the staffers unscripted after all these years is a treat and will create a dedicated fan base like reality shows do. I think the Klepek haters are evolving because all of us 20/30 males somethings want his job, I know I do. I agreed with Morgan that sometimes the kiddie themed stuff is just hard to get into as an older gamer. ME 1 & 2 along other sci-fi or wartime games, even Fallout3, seem easier to relate to. PS Lost's ending reeked.

Abbie your thumbs are perfect!

Am I the only one who caught that? Huge kudos to Andrew for telling Patrick to be quiet.

LOL at Pfister, it's okay, you're not the only one that thinks Klepek is annoying.

Morgan Webb needs to be on Feedback a lot more. The friendly chemistry that Adam and Morgan have is amazing. The fact that those two have worked together for years really shows. Morgan brings Abbie our of her shell. Plus, I didn't think Adam could get any more funnier, but when Morgan is on, she really brings his inner geek out and it is a blast to watch.
BR4CR
Whoops! I always get Morgan and Olivia confused. More Morgan on Feedback! Her presence seemed to make for a more lively conversation.
BR4CR
This was a more animated Feedback than the average show. It felt like Olivia was throwing some curve balls into the game today. She should be there more often.

I kinda think Morgan comes off as being a typical "'core-mentality" hater in this (and in general as of late). It's kinda hypocritical too when you sing the praises of Ratchet & Clank when it was released and then say Mario is "too cartoony". It's hard to take someone seriously who seems to possibly have some sort of agenda to sell.
And saying Mario Galaxy 2 isn't for everyone seems kinda misguided, since in reality, what game IS for everyone? No game could ever rightfully claim that title because tastes are too varied now-a-days. But I'd say Mario games are more deserving of being for "for everyone" than pretty much any of the other games out there (save maybe Tetris). Mario is like Pixar, safe for kids and entertaining for adults. I know Red Dead Redemption and Gears Of War don't fit for sure, but it seems like that's what is being hinted at.
