Sometimes, enough is enough. In a piece I'm publishing later today, I'll tell you why I haven't given up on Bit.Trip.Runner, despite the game's brutal difficulty level. That's not to say I'm not willing to give up on a game, though. I can't actually remember the last time I actually said "no, eff you, I'm done" and turned the console off. Usually, I get bored and forget to go back. In that case, Bayonetta.

I gave up on God of War 3. It was my first time playing one of those QTE games. I really hated having to press buttons a la Simon Says. That's not a combat system people. However, I did like it for Heavy Rain, so go figure...

On a side note, I did get bored and give up on Alan Wake about 3 hours into it.

I had just written a comment but the profanity filter went off for no reason yet again, so whatever...

If a game is terrible I usually just give up on it, like the time I rented Onechanbara. I thought to myself "what the hell am I supposed to do in this game?" I went around killing zombies a lot and just randomly died, no zombie killed me, I just died for no reason. The lesson here is don't play odd japanese games that are badly reviewed and include partially naked women.
