Lost Planet 2 lovers looking to spice up their multiplayer lives will soon have their chance, as Capcom plans to roll out a new multiplayer map pack for the game next week.
The second map pack includes the Dockyard Battle map based on the overland battleship found in episode four of the campaign mode, and the Frozen Wasteland map from Lost Planet: Extreme Condition.
Both modes support 16 players, and the pack will cost $4.99 when it’s released on PlayStation Network June 1, and 400 Microsoft Points when it hits Xbox Live June 2.
Any diehard Lost Planet 2 players out there? I'm only asking because I don't know anyone who does.
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

Agreed. When are they coming out with a patch to fix the crappy split screen that doesn't split the screen correctly, enemies that camp at your respawn point, and overly complicated interface menus and the list goes on.

Did they include a patch to fix what was wrong with the game?

Lost Planet 2 is the epitome of what I call a game that came just a little too late. Had this been a title that came before the massive surge of co-op enabled first person shooters of late last year it would have been a lot more popular with the online crowd. I play it from time to time but Ive got it on rental. I would never buy this even if it was dirt cheap to click that keep button,

how are maps translated to modes? learn the difference please or tell us about some new game modes if those are included

There are many many many better multi-player experiences out there that are more worth my time than playing either of the Lost Planet games. Talk about being bored.
