The 3D debate roars on, especially with Sony's decision to move Killzone 3 into 3D. Predicting the Avatar of video games is nearly impossible, but if you were running the world and could pick one game to make the leap to 3D, what would it be? What game would move the 3D needle for you?

i mean come on 3D...... its allrdy basicly as good as graphics are gonna get all it rly is is makign it more clear its not makign it more graphical wtf is dat bull look at the n64 to the ps2 to the ps3 and xbox 360 dude the graphics just get more clear its not geting more graphical.....

Glasses to play MY GAMES. SIGN ME UP. Hell no. Sorry but HD is sweet. I do not want to deal with glasses. This would not be the first trend they tried to force on people that failed. Now true 3d. That is another story.
Plus, like a lot of Americans I am now out of work.

I think 3D is a bunch of crap, and if Killzone 3 is going to be effected by it Graphic wise or Gameplay wise I am going to be super pissed. Everyone just needs to get the Hell away from this 3D junk.

I am sick an tired of 3d being shoved down our throats, no one is asking for it and yet now every damn moive has to be 3d, games have to be 3d they even sell digital cameras that take 3d pics its getting rediculous. Seriously if they are worried about someting make the content in True HD 1080p and maybe if they can get that right then move on to something else.

I think RTS's would benefit the most from 3-D, no headaches, just extremely cool looking battles that you have control over.

What do I want from 3D? To die on the vine... I'll accept 3D when I can hack my eyes through a wireless implant. until then, i don't need something that just gives me headaches...

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOU GUYS? 3-D TVs sound very cool. but you guys look at the movie business and think, "oh look at that, now all the movies are made in 3D" No shut up! ONLY LITTLE KIDS MOVIES WERE TURN INTO 3-D. IRON MAN wasn't trun into 3-D. Kick Ass Not 3-D. THE HURT LOCKER NOT 3-D. i rest my case..... Oh and i want ROCKBAND to be 3-D

It would have to be designed from the ground up for 3D, and really innovate new mechanics available only in 3D. If 3D is optional I won't ever be forced to upgrade, and that's what it will take for me.

I just bought a new HDTV just last week as mine broke recently and I did not buy a 3D capable one. So I guess i pretty much decided that i'm not interested in 3D for at least 4 or 5 years. With that said Killzone in 3d does sound interesting and i hope i get to demo it somehow just for curiosity.

I recently purchased a new 55" Samsung 8000 series LED TV. I didnt purchase it for the 3D specifically but more so for the overall power, picture clarity, internet, etc. While I've been in the camp of not needing or really wanting to play games in 3D, Ill be darned if Im not stoked to give it a shot. I wasn't sold until I watched Monsters Vs, Aliens (terrible movie) in Best buy with the whole 3D shebang. It was impressive. Completely unnecessary, but impressive.

As far as I'm concerned we don't need 3D games. I just got an HDtv like 4 months ago( on account of the price) and now I'm expected to drop $3,000+ for something that's going to make my head hurt. And as far as I can tell the only good 3D movie so far was Avatar every other one was somewhat of a gimmick. So what I'm trying to say is are we going to change the way we play games because one movie was fun and kinda cool in 3D.

3D Glasses hurt your eyes because your eyes are doing all the work. The new Sony 3D TV's that will be used have "POWERED" 3D glasses that are provided a signal Via an IR device from the TV or from a sending unit that tells the glasses what to do.. Thereby, the glasses do all the work...not your eyes. You can use these glasses for more then 8 hours and you won't notice any eye strain at all!...so before you trash 3D TV, know your Facts. ( By the way, the glasses in the theaters are not powered!).. Also, I Have demoed the new 3D tv's and have played the demo of MotorStorm and watched the KillZone 3 trailer in 3d...and it's AMAZING and I will get a 3D TV the minute they are released. The ability to add depth to the games and movies is amazing. FPS performance increases dramatically!!

3D glasses of any kind hurt my eyes after about 20 minutes so no game would work for me. Watching Avatar in the theatre was a painful experience, I watched half the movie blurry. I enjoyed it much more when I got the Blu Ray and could actually see what was going on.
