April may have been a breather, but that's not the case in May. Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy 2 -- and that's just the major releases! This week, Adam Sessler, Sterling McGarvey, Abbie Heppe and myself headed into the studio to discuss the latest news and highlight two other games worth talking about: Split/Second and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

Feedback -- Split/Second, Prince Of Persia And Insomniac Games Goes 360 Edition »

On this week's episode of Feedback...

  • Insomniac Games announced a deal with EA Partners this week to release a new gaming franchise on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. What does this pattern mean for the industry?
  • Microsoft execs Robbie Bach and J Allard, two guys who have had a lasting impact on the past and present of Xbox, have left Microsoft. We debate what the shakeup means for you.
  • The Mass Effect movie is one step closer to reality.
  • Killzone 3 was announced and it's Sony's boldest support of 3D gaming yet. No, Adam doesn't have a breakdown, but we do question how 3D can be proven to an audience without glasses.
  • We touch on Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Stands and Split/Second. One is the new hotness, while the other is...well, you'll just have to watch and find out what we think about it.
  • A reader asks us to name our favorite up-and-coming indie studios.

Feedback, asking Adam to make forest animal sounds since...well, we never asked.

How exactly to you go about getting your input/suggestion featured during Feedback? I have a product or technology that I feel may be extremely revolutionary and from what I have seen, there hasn't been much recognition.

Geh! I just realized... that's gonna be why they justify making a new console. To get our technology on-par with the requirements of good 3D...

For those wondering about the upcoming Feedback schedule:

    Next Week: Mario Galaxy 2
Week After That: Red Dead Redemption
    Week After After That: E3!

We've been super busy the last week or so, which means the panel hasn't had enough hands-on time with either Mario or Red Dead to make the conversation interesting.

Better to be late and thorough than early and...not...thorough. Yeah.

Great episode of Feedback. I agree with Patrick on one thing, I also liked the Prince of Persia reboot. Can't wait for E3, and Feedback on TV is just giving me more of a reason to watch.

The first 3D game I can remember having jetpacks was Duke Nukem 3D & that was 2 years before Tribes... and don't forget Outwars.

great episode.im interested in project natal.if someone could make a Natal version of mortal kombat it would sell like pancakes at fat camp, and id deffently eat it up.im not sold on 3dtv i think its a waste of money.i havetn seen any real good reviews on them and just to perchase some of them you need to take out a morgate, freaking nuts.and now theres anther TV coming out thats not 3d,but is an "evolved" version of HD resoltuion-colors.with what ive been reading on it.it makes 3dtv seem like a waste.im not thrilled about the MEU movie hopefully it is not about shepard.surpirzed you guys didnt talk about the gears title 6 update.im pumped to see feedback on tv during E3.hopefully you guys can find some downtime, while your working-"fun".there better not be anther new consol for at least anther five years.we're getting alot of software/hardware for our consols just to waste and then buy some crazy costly new consol.alright ive had my geek gagdet fill.time to read some news on the recent qutuamn science appslications/mechanics and discoveries.Real Science here i come.ill be back my follow geeks.

The whole thing with devs owning their ips reminds me of the comic industry in the 90's, where if you worked for Marvel you didnt own anything you created so Mcfarlane and Jim Lee went off to form image where the createors owned their creations.

WTB Respawn mentioned as a studio to watch? I'm very interested in seeing what they do. What's left of Infinity Ward also, but not so much what they are going to put out because it will probably be just another CoD or get shut down.
