Ubisoft continues to build out its various Tom Clancy franchises, and the latest addition is their upcoming aerial combat sequel H.A.W.X. 2. Since Ghost Recon: Future Soldier was recently pushed into 2011, H.A.W.X. 2 will surely be on a lot of Clancy-loving gamers’ radars later this year.
As well it should be. I recently saw that game in action at Ubisoft’s recent pre-E3 showcase, and as a big fan of H.A.W.X., I definitely liked what I saw:
"Once in the air, the planes look and maneuver just as sharp as they did in the first game, only now with noticeable graphical improvements. One of the most notable graphical bumps is the new damage system, which causes planes to now splinter and explode appropriately when taken down. There’s nothing quite like catching some poor fool flush with a rocket and then flying through the fiery debris as the nose, tail and wings break apart and flutter away."
After you're done buzzing the tower, definitely check out the full first-look preview for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2.

I really liked the story but not so much the controls of the first. I really liked the controls of Ace Combat 6 but hated the sappy story. If Ubisoft somehow creates a hybrid of those two, bingo I'm down.

Sounds good, hope they come out with a flight stick bundle for it.

This time around America will be fighting evil corporation #2!
We beat the Wal-Mart of PMC's, so i guess the sequel will be fighting the Target/K-Mart of PMC's?
