What kind of game is it?

Blur is a racing game that combines real-life cars from real manufacturers with the weaponized mayhem found in kart racing games. That means you can expect to chuck massive red fireballs at a real-life Lotus Exige as it attempts to shunt you for first place.

Who's the Developer?

Liverpool, UK-based Bizarre Creations has concocted a diverse range of games from Geometry Wars to The Club to its bread and butter, the Project Gotham Racing series.

What's the story?

It's a kart-based racing game. You shoot fireballs and lightning at other cars. How much plot do you need?

Multiplayer/Online?

Blur will feature online races for up to 20 cars. That's a lot of mayhem to take in. If you've got a big enough TV, you can also play split-screen races with up to three other people.

What'd we say?

I hate PGR, but I love Blur. Ironic, isn't it?

I'm just afraid that it'll be in the same situation that the orange box and bayonetta were put it. Both were amazing games but the developer couldnt port it properly to the playstation console. I really do want this game to succeed. even if all the game footage is a little hard to figure out whats going on

I took part in the Blur multiplayer beta and I enjoyed it. Blur in a way can be considered a spiritual successor to the PGR series since Blur is being developed by Bizarre Creations. Anyway, I like the style of the game and the style being similar to Mario Kart and Sega All Star Racing is a good thing because Blur also puts its own twist on it. It plays well, so I look forward to experiencing the action.
