Sony has yet to officially announce Killzone 3, the much-anticipated follow up to Guerilla Games' PlayStation 3 hit shooter Killzone 2, but thanks to the upcoming edition of GamePro, a slew of new details have emerged about the under wraps title.

A poster over at GameSpot UK’s forums has put up an extensive details list, but here are a few of more telling bits:

• The game apparently includes jetpacks, which are described as "surprisingly lightweight and agile." Also, jetpack is easier to maneuver compared to the sluggish incarnations of the gadget found in other games."
• The game will support 3D, and the 3D will apparently be a “Game Changer."
• The combat is "unchanged from predecessor,” except for the addition of hand-to-hand abilities that have you “Unloading a string of different (and often brutal) attacks on stunned enemies."
• The overall feel will be that “of being in a place far away from home, outnumbered by people who want to kill you."

These descriptions are classically second hand, and while there’s reason to believe they are accurate, they also can’t be confirmed just yet, so keep that in mind. Still, this seems a strong indication that Sony will definitely be sharing more about Killzone 3 during E3 in a few weeks. No?
