Judging from the latest uncut reveal trailer for Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops, Winston Churchill’s famous line, “History is written by the victors,” clearly serves as the primary narrative thrust of Activision’s latest installment in its smash-hit military shooter franchise. There are a lot of wild things happening in this trailer (loads more limb dismemberment than I was expecting, just to name one), so feel free to watch it multiple times. It don't cost nothin'.

And why does everyone seem to think that Infinity Ward were so great? All they did was add way more killstreaks and make a Michael Bay type Campaign were there is no story or character development at all. It was just unrealistic weapons and cinematics.

The trailer looks good. But its obvious that they cannot do as good a job as Infinity Ward. Its clear to me that they do not how to get the best quality out of IW's engine. Serves them right for stealing IW's thunder.
Be prepared for Respawn to blow this game out of the water.

hopefully Treyarch doesn't screw up again, the only thing i liked from WaW was nazi zombies. the rest of the game was basically a crappy World War II remake of COD4, which is one of the greatest games ever created. all they did was copy the same perks and the sprint ability from COD4. but from the looks of this trailer, its going to be badass, just hope they don't disappoint again

I'm not feeling to good about this game. I was kind of on the edge as far as whether or not I would enjoy CoD:MW2, but I seriously believe that this whole fiasco with IW has ruined poisoned the gaming well for me... at least with the CoD franchise, at any rate. Unless Treyarch presents some really good trailer with a good storyline, I don't think I'll be picking up this game when it comes out. A solid multiplayer experience simply isn't enough to keep me from picking up a good book or seeing a good movie with my friends.

Ya know. At first I was a bit skeptical about the announcement of the next CoD. Since I personally thought WaW and MW2 weren't that great. But from the looks of it, it seems like it's going to be a pretty badass campaign. Hopefully they pull it off with the multiplayer and I'll be sold.
