Attention lovers of all things Blizzard, who also happen to totally ignore headlines: BlizzCon 2010 tickets go on sale June 2 and June 5.
As in years past, tickets will be sold in two batches. Each ticket will run you $150, a $25 hike compared to BlizzCon 2009 (when the tickets actually cost $25 more than they did the year before as well). The price increase had zero influence on ticket sales last year, at least initially, as the first batch sold out in just 30 minutes, so I don't expect this year to be any different.
If you don’t manage to nab tickets to the event, which will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on October 22 and 23, you can watch live coverage as part of a DirectTV Pay Per View package or via Internet streams. If for no other reason to curse all those lucky bastards who snagged tickets.
Tickets go on sale on the official BlizzCon website at 7pm PST June 2 and 10am on June 5. Good luck!
