Have been following the show for a while ( upon a Brubaker recommendation on myspace) and although it is great I'm not a reader of the monthlies (or byweeklies for that matter). I was wondering if you could recommend a site or show where I can find out about new graphic novels and trade releases.
before you chew me out for not supporting my local comic shop and the industry as a whole I would like to point out that a) comics are expensive
and b) I live in a town that doesn't have a good comic book store and I am therefore forced to do the majority of my comics shopping on the internet.

I just started reading Scott Pilgrim and once I'm done that I'll pick up the trades for The Sword; I have been interested in that for awhile. Always A Great Show Blair!

Ok so I skipped the spoilers for The Sword until I read it.

Blair, love the show. You turned me on to so many great comics. I have only become an enthusiast a few months back and Fresh Ink has been a big help.
The show really should be at least half an hour. There is so much potential for expansion here.
Hoping in a reasonable timeframe all of The Sword will be released as a hardcover.
And finally, how could you have not mentioned The Unwritten #13?!

nice girl.

Blair - thanks again for getting me into The Sword. I dug this book alot.
I wasn't sold on Siege, but it was probably the only way to bring the whole Dark Reign thing to an end. Couldn't happen quick enough for me.
Not that Blackest Night was a bunch better. Too many panels of characters floating around in space for my liking.
And as I'm already being grumpy, Daredevil isn't doing it for me right now and what I've seen about the Shadowland thing fills me with dread.
Am I alone in wishing that the big publishers would lay off the big crossovers for a year or two? We promise to still buy comics!

The whole event of Siege was disappointing. This is not the first event that Bendis wrote that had a disappointing conclusion, Avengers: Disassembled, House of M, Secret and Invasion and now Siege. But I guess I'm an idiot cause I keep buying them. Marvel's Executive Editor, Tom Brevoort said Siege will destroy Blackest NIght. Hmm, I don't think so, Tom.
Daytripper and Birds of Prey were awesome. I want Huntress to wear the old costume, not the one Jim Lee made for her. But with Ed Benes as the artist, he will put as much cheese-cake as possible. Still, he's a good artist.

I love Day Tripper and because your amazing comic powers I was able to become aware of it. It has become my favorite on going series.

I appreciate that you put in spoilers, but as I said the format does lend itself to it. And to be perfectly frank, you don't give up spoilers as much as some other sites.
I second the comment that a weekly show could be made from Fresh Ink. We need new material especially for G4 Canada.
I'm looking forward to your trades and graphic novel segments. That how I get alot of comics now. When you did your Batman Primer on AOTS, I sat back thinking "Got it, got it, got it, got it and.. got it!" I guess it's true; great minds think alike." :)

Had to skip over the Sword review. Just bought the first trade and am excited to read it. Would have liked to hear your take on Titans: Villians For Hire. The book was $4.99, but was a 54 pager. Really dug that one shot. Love Mike Mayhew's art. Birds Of Prey, The Flash and Generation Lost all rocked! Glad to see a $2.99 price on those covers. Brightest Day has been much more affordable than Seige. At leat when I pay $3.99 for a DC book I get 40 pages not just 32.

Make fresh ink half an hour or an hour long and give it its own time slot. MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Awesome as usual! Keep up the good work, Blair!

No talk of Justice league: Generation Lost?! I think that was the pick of my week!
