After nearly a decade of speculation, Capcom finally confirmed the fan-demanded Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 at their annual Captivate conference in April. Until the game's release date next spring, Capcom and Marvel are going to be happily teasing players about the full lineup of fighters. Captivate revealed a handful, but an article in the latest Game Informer adds four more playable characters into the arena.
Deadpool, Felicia, Dante and Captain America are the latest additions to Marvel vs. Capcom 3. These four join the already known Iron Man, Morrigan, Ryu, Hulk, Chris Redfield and Wolverine.
That's just a fraction of the game's entire cast, too.
"Right now," said producer Ryota Niitsuma back in April, "we're aiming to have, at least, more than 30 characters in the game, but we're still in the middle of development and going forward until a release date, we'll see how many we can fit in. We'd like to add as many as possible."
The demand from fans, in addition to to changes in Marvel's planned rollout of comics and movies in the coming years, are said to shape what will eventually become the final roster. That roster remains in flux, however, and both Capcom and Marvel said they're paying very close attention.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is going to outsell Super Street Fighter 4 period. Next yr is going to be one of the biggest yrs in gaming; because of this ultra fan-favorite arcade game on the systems!I do hope that Gambit and Cyclops are in this; Deadpool is going to be crazy.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is gonna be the all-time greatest in the series. I mean visually; it's fantastic. The combos are going to be outta this world and online capability. I do speak for all; when, I say I hope Gambit, long-time favorite Mega-Man is in there. I'd like to see Crimson Viper; I know see new and everything but she's hot. And her and storm/or Morrigan would make a team against Dante and hopefully War Machine. It's gonna be a classic no matter what; whoever do end up in the final version, we'll all be playing it 4ever and 4 the rest of our lives!

I'd like to see Luke Cage and the Iron Fist on the Marvel side, and Frank West (since he's in just about every other Capcom title) and Leon Kennedy on the Capcom side. And which Captain America are they using, Steve or Bucky?

Thanos was a week character in the game the first time aroung, slow as the hulk only weaker. I would like to see the Black Panther, more speey characters good.
