If you're not a big fan of playing as Mario, don't worry, because Luigi is now a playable character in Super Mario Galaxy 2. In addition, Luigi can use all the abilities available in the game, as well as use Yoshi to do his bidding.

Why can't they just make Super Mario Bros. Galaxy and have Mario and Luigi co-op and solve puzzles using the both of them.

Im actually really excited about this. I really enjoyed the first one. As a matter of fact I think its the only Wii game I actually own.
But I still have some questions....
Does Luigi jump higher than Mario?
Can it be two player?
Or do you get to play as Luigi once youve finished the game with Mario yet again?
Luigi should have his own abilities not just running around doing everything that Mario can do. I mean if they can essentially do the same things, they why put him in the game at all?

This game is the reason why I will finally break down and purchase myself a Wii!! Which is awesome, because now I am one of the few who actually hae an excuse to pick up the Black one!! SO to Adam Sessler, I am one of the few who held out for the Black Wii!! Just like when I held out for the Spice colored Gamecube!!

I hope Luigi isn't as hard to control as he was in the first when when you completed the game with Mario. Luigi slid all over the dang place.

@Wozman23, watch The Super Mario Brothers movie. Their names are Mario Mario and Luigi Mario. This is also for all you kids born after 1995.

Anybody ever really analyzed the name Mario Brothers? Usually two brothers would be classified by their last name, so is Mario's full name Mario Mario, or did Luigi just get the short end of the stick there too?

I really hope this means it's two player, this would make the star bit collecting second person make more sense since instead of just sitting there watching the other person, you are actually waiting for your own turn.
