United Front Games’ upcoming kart racing game ModNation Racers packs an impressive one-two punch: an instantly accessible and slick racing experience and an absurd amount of customization options that let players create and tweak characters, karts and even entire racetracks. Sony Computer Entertainment producer Kyle Zundel stopped by the G4 offices recently to drive us through ModNation’s deep customization system.

Wow this game is an instant buy man. I love how you can customize everything. From your mod to kart to your kart to track and track to weather and all sorts of stuff. Crazy this game is just going to be awesome this month.

As a game developer myself, I'm pretty amazed by how good the track editor is. Really makes is easy for people who would suck at making a track. The only question about this game is: are people going to download other's tracks and play them or will everyone just want to play their own? LBP basically turned into a youtube game where people just made levels and uploaded youtube videos of them playing them because all people wanted to do was make levels and not play other people's

I can't wait for this game. Makes me less annoyed that GT5 isn't out yet (seriously, that game must have like 20,000 cars in it by now.....)
