Ubisoft has officially announced that the fighter jet simulating sequel Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2 will be released this fall. Well, now we can check off one of the two Tom Clancy games currently in development over at Ubisoft.

It’s too early for any concrete details, but Ubisoft creative director Bogdan Bridinel explained in a statement that H.A.W.X. 2 “is directly inspired by Tom Clancy’s book, and it will enable fans to once again experience the excitement and intensity that established H.A.W.X. as a successful brand.”

H.A.W.X. 2 is being developed by Ubisoft Bucharest and will be available on PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii.

The first H.A.W.X. was actually a blast, so I’ll definitely be keeping the sequel on my radar, for obvious, pun-related reasons. How about you?
