Blizzard Wants Battle.Net To Become Gaming's Facebook

Who isn't adding support for Facebook these days? G4tv.com added Facebook functionality earlier this week and Blizzard's integrating the social network into their online service, Battle.net.

Facebook will give players new ways to connect with one another for multiplayer matches, starting with StarCraft 2 and continuing with future Blizzard releases. Players currently in the StarCraft 2 beta will have a chance to see how Facebook integration works before the game's July 27 release date.

In the announcement release, Blizzard said Facebook is coming to the beta in the "near future."
