Seriously. Who wants a black Wii? Anyone? Is there someone out there who's so desperate for a black-tinted Wii that they're going to buy a second one? There must be, right? Despite this, I expect sales to spike, mostly because it makes total sense as a gift and Wii Sports Resort + Wii Sports = awesome.

I don't own a wii, but if I was to get one it would be black, not because it is black but because it is a bundle. It has the best deal.

I am one that is looking forward to a black wii. I currently have a white one, but it sticks out like a sore thumb.
I currently have a black metal entertainment center, black LCD, black cable box, black surround sound unit, black PS3, black 360 and then the white wii. It just doesn't fit in within the current scheme I have going on and now I'm looking forward to being able to correct that.
I will probably just sell my white wii on craigslist when I get the new one though, as I really don't have a need for 2 of them.

I don't want a Wii no matter what the color. Although I'm sure the same idiotic consumers which have made this console sell so exceptionally well will also be excited about this.

if this was available when the wii first came out sure i would have gotten it but im happy with my PS3

I dont have a wii as of right now I own a PS3 and one of the main reasons I havent gotten a wii is because it would clash with all of my black electronics. Now that a black one is out I may get one eventually not that I would ever really use it.

Aesthetically, the black is quite appealing. It's slimming...sexy....dark....mys terious, but I agree my white wii is quite adequate. I'm sure however their will be a decent market for it. I myself am about to graduate from college and move into my own place, sadly my 3 younger brothers would die before letting me take the wii with me so I would definitely be interested in picking up the slick black model.
