Seriously. Who wants a black Wii? Anyone? Is there someone out there who's so desperate for a black-tinted Wii that they're going to buy a second one? There must be, right? Despite this, I expect sales to spike, mostly because it makes total sense as a gift and Wii Sports Resort + Wii Sports = awesome.

Doesnt anyone remember that the Wii was originally shown as the Nintendo Revolution, and that it was shown in Black first?
I've been waiting to buy a Wii in Revolution Black.

Well..since I don't HAVE a Wii, I'd like to get the Black Wii bundle..
..But knowing Nintendo & their track record with making new iterations of the DS every so often, I'll keep waiting until they add come up with & add more stuff to their Wii's (until they stop making new iterations).
And besides..the Wii is reaching the end of it's lifespan anyways, so I'll probably end up waiting 'til the next console comes out.
[[shrug]] My budget right now only allows me to buy several new games; I don't have enough to buy a different 2nd console right now, and if I did, it'd be the PS3 Slim, over the Black Wii.

I don't have a Wii, and every one of my other consoles is black (except for the PS1, but that's long since been retired)... So if I get a Wii, then it would be a black one. It would just match nicely. ^_^

I think all the other consoles need to stop trying to imitate the PS3, i mean first 360 Elite, now this? In the end they can all change their color, but they'll never be a PS3, which is sad, but i guess imitation is the best form of flattery ;D

I think it's a great idea. I think the black coating looks sleeker then the other Black versions of the other consoles. Doesn't mean it'll play better of course but she's looking mighty sharp on the outside.

I want a black wii because it looks sleek and sexy. a white wii kind of looks plain. the color black can go with any other color and make it look cool while the color white can sometimes "stick out like a soar thumb" as people been saying earlier.

Someone who doesnt have a Wii would most definately want this bundle over the white one just because of the added value. You get a Wii motion plus and Wii Sports Resort. Unless they add that to the White bundle too it would be stupid not to get the black one.

"shows scratches" What are you doing to scratch up your Wii... Yeah that's a funny statement. If I'd had a choice when I bought mine I would have bought a black one. My PS3, tv case, surround sound, satellite reciever are all black with blue lights. It would have matched better. Of course my white 360 doesn't match either.

It seems to me like the white would actually look better given that the lights are blue. Now make those lights red or something and it will look much better. But i think I will stick with my near new white one, besides black shows scratches too easy.

well for people that are anal about their set up the black wii is ideal becaus ethe white one sticks out like a soar thumb. luckily i gave the white wii away last year and i have to get a new one to play epic mickey :)

They should have waited to release this when they added more processing power. Then they could have made the case a bit longer to fit the extra electronics. A big, thick, black, HD Wii would have been very cool.
I'm sure more Devs would jump on the chance to make games for that system, thus eleminating the drought that has come with nintendo systems.
