Dragon Age: Origins 360 Patch Testing Underway

Mass Effect 2 downloadable content not your thing? More of a Dragon Age: Origins DLC fan? Then you’ll be especially excited about the following bit of news: BioWare will release a new chunk of DLC for their fantasy RPG in the form of the Darkspawn Chronicles.

The only bit of info that Microsoft has seen fit to share about the add-on is that it will cost 400 Microsoft Points ($5), and it will be released on May 18. Since we don’t have any official details yet, I’m going to say it includes playable Darkspawn.

What say you?

I won't be buying awakening until it comes down from it's ridiculously high price of 31.99. Either the price drops or it's released as a separate game. There aren't even that many trophies for it!

Looking forward to it. Hopefully you can use your hero from the original game or from Awakening.

I loved this game. I'd go as far as to say it was one of my faves from last year. However, I just can't bring myself to play it a second time. I tried starting two new characters, and just couldn't get into it, and I know its because I enjoyed my first playthrough of it so much, any other kind of outcome just doesn't appeal to me (which is odd, because I've played the first ME about 6 times, and ME2 3 times so far, in succession, and never had a problem with this, even though my original character is still the one I consider my personal canon.) I hate to say it, but DA:O will remain a one time experience for me, albeit an awesome one.

After buying their "expansion pack" which doesn't even connect well to the previous game and is mostly it's own stand alone adventure, I think I'll pass on anymore DLC for this game.

i love me some dragon age i played it on xbox and ps3 and the xbox version is better. for some reason if your on ps3 after a hour or so the frame rate slows really bad and if you don't save every 5 minutes you run the risk of a game freeze. especially in dao awakenings. but since i am only on ps3 now i am forced to endure. i can not think of any other game i would deal with this from and still be pumped to read about dlc.
the only quetion is how long after the 18th will ps3 players have to wait for their dlc july.

I loved this game to pieces. I played it INNUMBERAL times. But I couldn't get past the friggen TEDIUM of orzamar! SERIOUSLY! I discovered my hatred of it RIGHT after I deleted all my saves. I just couldn't bring myself to play orzamar again! And what are these PS3 issues you speak of? I was considereing giving it a go on the PS3. (I originally played it on the 360)

Bioware is releasing information today, going by a Dev post on the forums yesterday. Now, if they can fix the Ps3 problem by then, ll be excited.
