Hey, PC and PS3 gamers, if you've been patiently waiting for the Modern Warfare 2 "Stimulus Package" DLC, you should be able to download it now. The pack went live today in North America for the PS3, and is debuting in Europe and the rest of the world tomorrow.
To pick up the Stim Pack for PS3, you can download it now from the PlayStation Network for $14.99. For PC, go to Steam. It features five new multiplayer maps... well, three that are all-new (Bailout, Storm and Salvage), and two remakes from the original Modern Warfare (Crash and Overgrown).
To celebrate the release of Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package for PS3, Infinity Ward is planning a Double XP Weekend on Saturday and Sunday for all the players and on all playlists.

I am suprised the maps came out seeing as if no on works at IW anymore. This game got real old real fast with the way people play the game. Hacks and cheats but hey if they didnt want you to play that way they wouldnt have made it that way right. But its all about the cash if Activision made movies we would be on Saw 74 by now.

I've been playing BC2 and getting used to playing MW2 again is tough. the first thing i wanted to do was spot an enemy when we were playing domination. and then i realized a.) that i can't and b.) nobody cares.
Getting used to a game where people play as a team and then going back to MW2 is tough. i also forgot about the noob tubing, akimbo shotgun BS and commando.

people that are complaining about the price ever heard of game sharing...I bought the DLC and 3 friends gave me some cash and we downloaded it to their systems as well.

I can get over the price, I have a job unlike most people apparently who find 15 dollars too much. I only have one issue so far. Why are they under a random stimulus playlist? In the last modern warfare, they just became part of the rotation of regular game modes. If I want to play hardcore, I have to play random search and destroy and only the rotation of the 5 maps, no thanks. Add the maps to the regular game modes for people who have them and all the maps total for the rotation. I want to play hardcore team deathmatch, not bore myself to death in search and destroy. I hope they fix this once more people get it.

MW2 = Xbox 360 and BFBC2 = PS3...agree?? MW2 has more players and came out first. BFBC2 overall is a better game but the game that came out first will always have more players.

i got the map packs and i was a bit disappointed by them. Camp central btw! The maps have a kind of bbc2 feel to them except u cant tear down the walls which EVERYBODY hides behind.

I play both bbc2 and mw2 nad i really like both and I think switching up games once in a while ads a longer life to both games. Noob toobing does get frusturating at time. I really think they should go back to cod 4 and take away perk 1 if you have a grenade launcher as an attatchment.

One word... Greed. They must have read Capcom's Book on juicing every red cent out of your fanbase. Yes, it's capitalism but it is also shows how little they care about the fanbase and consumer by making weak, overpriced DLC. I really hate companies like Activision and Capcom that make these games and want to charge ridiculous prices for cosmetic changes to the game [Alternate Outfits/Skins, Maps & Etc.]. Give us a break, once and awhile.
