If you weren't lucky enough to score an early download code for the Halo: Reach beta, there's good news: the beta opens up to Halo 3: ODST owners today. For those among us who did pop into Bungie's latest shooter over the weekend, however, let me hear your favorite moments in the multiplayer beta thus far. I have to admit, it was tough to wipe the smirk off my face the first time I floated into the air via jetpack and nailed a headshot. That didn't, uh, happen very many times after that, though.

So, are we just supposed to wait around and keep turning ODST on to check? I guess that works... but I was hoping to get some play in before school gets out for all the little foul mouthing kiddos...

my favorite moment has been staying up til midnight to start playing the beta only to realize that they aren't literally doing a may 3rd release. probably should have done some research before I stayed up so late.

Yeah i'm East Coast, and theres no option to play/download reach beta.
Why can't they just prepare themselves to release it at 12:00am; Instead of picking some random hour throughout the day so the traffic is high on downloading/playing.

Okay my first and most memorable moment is when i can't figure out how to get the beta. When i get into the ODST main menu it still says that Halo Reach drops May 3rd.. That's today. I was hoping to get it before i leave for work but i suppose i won't be able to.
